2026 Missionary Fundraising ○ OHW Team
Hello, my name is Liam Pluta! This July, I will pedal 600 miles over 6 days from Columbus, Ohio to Saint Louis, Missouri as a first year missionary with Biking for Babies.
I am sophomore attending University of Illinois, Chicago as an Evans Scholar majoring in Kinesiology. Growing up, I participated in the local Hike for Life, as well as the National March for Life in Washington, D.C. I have had the desire to take the reins and join the pro-life movement in a more personal way. Biking for Babies has presented this avenue which I am honored to take part in. This bike ride will raise awareness and increase funds for pregnancy resource centers which support mothers and babies in challenging circumstances.
I chose to be a missionary as I believe every human has the right to life from womb to tomb. I also recognize the crucial need to support mothers and babies not only through prayer, but by practical means as well, such as: ultrasounds, medical resources, diapers, carseats, parenting classes, housing for mothers, and many other resources, which Biking for Babies helps make possible.
Please join me in the Biking for Babies' mission by making a gift towards my fundraising campaign. Your generosity directly supports our mission to renew the culture of life by forming young adult missionaries, raising awareness and funds for pregnancy resource centers which support pregnant women across the country. Every donation, big or small, makes a significant difference.
