Child & Family Service (CFS) is launching an innovative new virtual campaign called Families Helping Families: A Marathon of Quarters to raise funds in small increments based on the measurement of everyday items or activities in quarters. Our goal is to raise funds equal to the amount of quarters that will cover the length of a marathon: 26.2 miles is equal to 1,660,032 inches, and a quarter measures .955 inches in diameter  – that’s $434,563! Can you help CFS reach the marathon finish line, inch by inch, and quarter by quarter, to help our efforts to assist families in Hawaii who need support – and will continue to need support -- during this difficult time? 

Let’s get creative and have fun – we can’t wait to see what you measure in quarters! This is also a great way to get fit as a family and measure your physical activity. Start a challenge to keep others motivated virtually! All funds raised will directly benefit CFS’ nearly 50 programs and services statewide that impact about 60,000 lives – from keiki to kūpuna—each year.
