Walking to honor Joan Ellison

On November 3rd, 2021 my friend, Joan Ellison, was stolen from us much too early after battling for 6 1/2 years against the insidious disease that is ovarian cancer.   

An army of Joan's family and friends has come together to form the "Joan's Journey" team to walk in the HOM Teal Strides for Ovarian Cancer walk on September 10th.  The walk is the main fundraising activity for the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA), an organization that provided support and comfort to Joan over the years.
