Nearly everyone has been touched by cancer, either through their personal experience or through someone they love.

I'm joining this fundraiser, because my sister had breast cancer. 

Even though I'm here in Manitoba, and she's all the way in the Philippines, our bond is strong, and this is one way I can stand with her from afar. She's an incredible woman and a devoted mother who faced her battle with courage and strength. 

By supporting this cause, I'm standing in solidarity not only with her, but with everyone affected by cancer.
