Please join me in raising money for Damon Runyon Cancer Research through the Timmerman Traverse Sierras 2026. This event combines two of my closely held passions: cancer research and hiking in the High Sierra of California.

The Timmerman Traverse is a team of drug developers who come together to support high impact cancer research and complete two grueling all-day hikes with nearly 8,000 vertical feet of elevation gain across 24 miles in the heat of August.

Our goal is to raise $1M to directly support early-career cancer researchers. Damon Runyon is the ideal partner for this effort. They have a long track record of identifying and backing some of the best early-career scientists across the country. Damon Runyon’s support provides the funding to start a lab or pursue high-risk, high-reward science, which helps generate the insights and innovations that become better cancer treatments.
