I am joining the Timmerman Traverse to raise money for the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation and to hike the magnificent Evolution Range of the California High Sierras.
DRCRF provides funds for BOLD research that enables researchers to seek BREAKTHROUGHS that will matter to cancer patients and their families.
My Motivation
All of us have been touched by cancer, whether it is a loved one, friend or colleague. For me, it was one of my favorite aunts, who passed away due to recurrent breast cancer.
Tools like MRD testing and efficacious therapy were unavailable to her, and DRCRF is working to change that narrative.
I take on the challenge of the Timmerman Traverse in her honor, and for the many others that succumbed all too soon.
