Today, multiple sclerosis is a chronic, incurable, and often disabling disease of the central nervous system (the brain, optic nerves, and spinal cord). There is no understanding of the cause and, while a variety of treatments attempt to halt progression and reduce symptoms, there is no cure for MS. The TTMS is a program which supports the research at Tisch MS Research Center of New York. 

This research center is committed to finding the cause and a cure, as well as regenerative stem cell therapies. After a successful FDA-approved Phase I clinical stem cell trial, Dr. Saud A. Sadiq and the research team began a Phase II, three-year clinical trial with 50 patients. Funding this initiative is the next critical step to reverse disability and repair the damage caused by MS.
