Located in the heart of downtown Boston, each day we welcome up to 500 individuals experiencing homelessness. Our refuge, recovery, employment and housing services overlap and build on one another to provide our guests with continuous and comprehensive support.

For nearly 40 years, St. Francis House has been dedicated to rebuilding lives through caring for those in our community experiencing homelessness, and it's your steadfast support that enables this work to happen every single day, 365 days a year.

We've seen an alarming number of guests at our shelter doors - and with the brutally cold New England weather moving in, we at St. Francis House are working tirelessly to enable individuals to meet their basic needs for shelter, food, warm clothing, access to behavioral health services, and employment training. We transform lives using a holistic approach to understanding and addressing all human needs.
