Sixteen years ago, my Mom passed away unexpectedly. I was a new mom with six-week-old twins. In my time of need, Hospicare provided me with grief counseling for free. My counselor was kind and empathetic. She went above and beyond to help me. Since then, I have swam across the lake to raise money for Hospicare for the last 14 years to pay it forward. I am supporting Hospicare and my community. I am helping someone like me who needs support in their time of need.
