In August of 2023 my dear friend Connie Packard lost her battle with Leukemia. This May I am walking and raising money for a cause that Connie was committed to: FriendshipWorks. The FriendshipWorks mission is to reduce elder isolation and create connections through their programs and initiatives. Connie dedicated 25 years of her life to volunteering with FriendshipWorks, where she served as Board President, guiding the organization with wisdom, compassion, and dedication. In fact, it was Connie who started FriendshipWorks’ Annual Walk to End Isolation in 2015. Myself and the many people whose lives Connie touched have created a team of walkers/fundraisers to keep Connie’s legacy alive. If you are able, any contribution is greatly appreciated
