Emiliano is our super hero and inspiration to walk for one more heart beat! He courageously battles a severe form of Congenital Heart Defect called HLHS. He received three open heart surgeries to help reconstruct his heart all before the age of four and most recently received a life saving heart transplant at age five. His CHD journey continues by the grace of God and we are thankful for medical teams who have saved his life countless times. Emiliano is living proof medical research saves lives!

We walk to support Emiliano and other heart warriors like him. Children born with CHD deserve a better chance at a longer and healthier life. Congenital Heart Defects are the MOST COMMON birth defect and the MOST UNDERFUNDED.

Every 15 minutes, a baby in this country is born with a congenital heart defect, making CHDs America's most common birth defect. The Congenital Heart Walk is dedicated to raising funds to support The Children's Heart Foundation's mission: to advance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of CHDs by funding the most promising research.
