I'm participating in the 2023 Winter Walk because I believe ending homelessness is within our reach. My work on the addiction team at BMC brings me face to face with folks who don't have a home. These are good people with hard lives and a terrible disease. While I don't work directly with homeless people without addiction, I can imagine their lives are also physically and emotionally exhausting.
