Dear Friends & Family,

First, I want to sincerely thank those that donated and/or came out to support me the past SEVEN years during Boys to Men's 100 Wave Challenge,

Without hesitiation, I'm doing it again this year with a goal of raising $5,000 or more.

WAVE BREAKIN' NEWS: The big, one-day surf celerbation at Mission Beach is back! I hope you can come out and join me and donate to a cause that is so near and dear to my heart.

If you don't know why this cause is so important to me...

My dad left this earth during a crucial time for a young dude — I was just 13.  You can imagine how different life might have been without a father during those teenage & self-esteem building years. I was lucky to have my wonderful stepdad come into the picture during my early adulthood, but the gap of no father-figure was impactful and even caused me some short term memory issues. I wish I had a program like B2M back then.

Boys to Men's in-school programs provide ways for boys to deal with their tramaus and build confidence and self esteem. There is nothing more powerful than surrounding a young man with a community of support and giving him the opportunity to reach his fullest potential. I hope to do that this year by attempting to catch 100 waves in one day to raise money and awareness for Boys to Men.
