It's true Calli Westin is one of the luckiest dogs in the world, but today my heart is reaching out to yours to ask you to give a second chance to so many animals less fortunate. 

Our HSBC Walk for the Animals is our most important fundraiser. We've been doing it for 34 years and yes, it's bigger than our Gala. 

The donation you make to my page today is the gift of a second chance to the thousands of animals that come through our doors. It's a lifeline to those we rescue in the wake of natural disasters...it's a gift that provides transportation, veterinary care, food and shelter.  

I promise you, my darling friend, that whatever you donate it will make a difference in their lives. 

And when you look into their eyes, I promise it will profoundly make a difference in yours.
