I need your help!

Please support me as I walk in the 2019 Capital Area Humane Society’s Walk for the Animals.

Every day, animals arrive at the doors of the Capital Area Humane Society with nothing more than hope for a better future. With the economy struggling, it is no question that when people suffer, animals can suffer, but CAHS is there to take these animals in, and provide them with food, shelter, medical care, and love.

With no state or federal funding, and no affiliation with any other humane organizations, it is solely the support of the community that keeps CAHS going. Please, help me in supporting this critical work, that helps homeless animals find warmth, comfort, and unconditional love with a forever family.

On a personal note, CAHS has given me so much. All three of my fur babies came in to my life because of amazing programs the shelter runs - foster care and our Rescue Waggin'. As I approach my third anniversury of working for this organization, I can't express how fulfilling it is to see the thousands (yes THOUSANDS) of animals we help each year find a family that will love them like I love my own furry children. I'm proud to be a part of such a fabulous organization, and grateful for all the opportunities I have had here. This place truly has my whole heart.
