I’m participating in this year’s Home Walk to raise money for United Way of Greater Los Angeles. This organization and their event are really important to me, and I’m working hard to support them.
HOMEWALK 2019 POINTS
Los Angeles was struggling to stop homelessness from growing and needed a way to rally support. The first HomeWalk answered the call, proving that Angelenos could — and would — come together to rally and fight to end homelessness.
We walk because nearly 53,000 people are homeless in Los Angeles County, including thousands of women, children and military veterans who sleep on our streets each night. Together, we can change that. HomeWalk brings together people like you who have the power to change our community for the better.
